Is there accommodation available for event attendees?

Our venue offers comfortable and well-equipped guest rooms that can accommodate a range of group sizes. The accommodation includes amenities such as comfortable beds, en-suite bathrooms, Wi-Fi access, and other necessary facilities to ensure a pleasant stay. 

What food options are available?

Yes, we have a PA system in Knighton Suite, Leighton Suite, and Howden Suite.

Our conference centre in Staffordshire is actively working towards reaching net zero by 2030. We have a range of initiatives in place that prioritise sustainability including using seasonal British ingredients in our dishes and offering plant-forward menus. For meetings and conferences, paper, flip charts must be requested and we’ve been making the switch to sourcing these products from environmentally friendly sources. We have set further environmental goals to help improve the sustainability of our conference centre, you can find our latest commitments on our Future First Charter.

How many attendees can a typical conference centre accommodate?

Large national conference centres can typically hold around 5000 people, often more or with combined conference rooms could hold up to 20,000. At our conference centre in Staffordshire, we can host medium-sized conferences for up to 500 delegates and with 338 bedrooms we can also hold delegates coming to multi-day conferences.

How much does it cost to hire a conference centre?

The cost of hiring a conference centre will depend on the location of your centre as well as the number of delegates you have attending and your layout requirements. At Yarnfield Park, our conference centre prices start from £29 per person as part of our Meetings For Change Day Delegate Rate. Minimum conference size of 10 guests. We also offer on-site bedrooms and are happy to accommodate multi-room conferencing events so please let us know what you envisage for your event when enquiring and we’ll work with you on a cost-effective conferencing venue solution.

What types of events are held in conference centres?

Depending on the size and the design of your conference centre, there are a range of events and sizes that can be met. At our conference centre in Staffordshire, we are equipped to deal with a whole host of conferencing events including small conferences and meetings, multi-room conferencing events, large conferences, exhibitions and more. We are ideally set up for a range of corporate and association events such as conferences, meetings, team building, retreats, family fun days, gala dinners and Esports tournaments.

Where can I see your restaurant menu?

As a leading venue within The Venues Collection for sustainable menus, we offer a buffet-style meal service that changes every day on a six-week rotation, meaning that we do not offer a standard menu. To find out more information regarding the current menu, please get in touch.

Does the venue offer free parking?

Yes. At Yarnfield Park we offer on-site free parking for hotel guests and all delegates.

How can I pay for food, drink etc. at your venue?

As part of our efforts to deliver more efficient services for our customers, we are a cashless venue. We can accept payment via card only for all onsite charges including food and beverages. All major credit & debit cards will be accepted.

Can we view the venue before booking?

Yes, please contact our team to discuss your requirements and book a viewing of our venue.

Do you offer leisure facilities?

Our leisure facilities are available to all hotel guests and offer cardiovascular equipment, free weights and machine weights. As a rural venue, there are also plenty of local walking routes!

Unfortunately, we don’t offer room service at Yarnfield Park. However, we do have catering options on offer for you to make use of during your stay.

Do you offer cleaning services?

Unfortunately, we don’t offer additional cleaning services at Yarnfield Park.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellation is available until 2pm on the day of your arrival.

How do I cancel my reservation?

If the reservation was made online, you can cancel it online. However, if you made your reservation over the phone then please contact our reception who will be able to assist you.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

You can check in from 2pm Sunday – Thursday and 4pm on Friday and Saturday.

Check-out time is before 10am.

We have plenty of outdoor space that is perfect for team building and ample space in our meeting rooms that is perfect for indoor team building activities.

Do you hold retreats?

We do not organise and hold retreats ourselves, we hire out our venue to businesses, charities, companies and religious groups that are looking to hold them.

What are the accommodation option for retreats?

We offer separate girls and boys bedroom blocks which are perfect for youth retreats. We also have a range of twin bedrooms and double bedrooms that are perfect for adults, young adults and couples or families. 

We can also offer a large amount of outdoor space that is perfect for youth groups to camp.

Can we hold a youth retreat

Yes, our venue is ideal for youth retreats and adult retreats. You can also have exclusive use of our venue which is perfect for youth retreats to ensure you have enough space for all of your attendees, activities and safe spaces.

Can we prepare our own food?

Yes. We have onsite facilities to prepare food for you but if you’d rather prepare your own food you will have access to kitchen and dining facilities. Please let us know when booking if this is your preference.

Can we have exclusive use of the venue?

Yes, we are happy for you to hire out our entire venue for your event, please let our team know that you’re interested in exclusive use when booking.
