Strange and wonderful events that you might not know exist
When it comes to events, we thought we’d seen it all. As a large conference venue with residential facilities, we’ve held more training events, expos and conferences than we can count!
However, a quick Google search reveals some wonderful events happening around the world, truly demonstrating the breadth of variety within the events industry. Here are some of our favourites (cats and icecream are involved!)…
Ice Cream Expo, Harrogate, UK
The Ice Cream Expo is a ‘truly unique expo showcasing a huge assortment of ice cream varieties together with its equipment and supplies.’ What’s not to love? We’re wondering if this event being held on Valentine’s Day was intentional. After all, everybody loves ice cream. Where do we sign up?
CatConLA, Los Angeles, USA
For the Cat lovers of the USA, this event has cat merchandise such as ‘furniture, art, toys and clothing.’ It also promises exciting speaker sessions from cat experts from around the world. And the website has the cutest ‘about’ page.
The London Coffee Festival, London, UK
With our very own Costa Coffee here at Yarnfield Park, we love good coffee. And we’re more than intrigued by the London Coffee Festival kicking off in April.
This event has it all – fun and educational sessions, an ‘Espresso Martini Launch Party’ and a ‘School of Chocolate’ by Hotel Chocolat. Yum!
International Pizza Expo, Las Vegas, USA
This tasty event is the ‘Largest Pizza Show’ in the world. Holding the World Pizza Games and a Craft Beer Pavilion, a ticket to this event is a must-have for those in the pizza industry.
